About the event
We have curated a program that is an ecological experience that connects the old with the new, the sacred with the secular, and the individual with community. Rather than focusing on liturgy, we are exploring the creation of a sonic space that unites singers and audience in collective feelings of compassion, joy, and grief. The featured new work on this program is "Sacred Space" by the brilliant Young American Composer, Alex Ferko. His work is interlaced with a quartet of other American choral works by Jake Runestad, Taylor Scott Davis, Eric Whitacre, and Richard Nance.
